The Addictions Program is a voluntary, self-referred service available to Southern Stl’atl’imx community members living in N’Quatqua, Samahquam and Skatin. The program is available to people of all ages and genders who need support, referrals, and access to traditional healing to address addictions.
The Addictions Program employs a coordinator who is also an NNADAP Worker. Among the supports he provides are weekly Wellbriety (an Indigenous 12-Step program) meetings, one-on-one sessions in community, and reourcees and information to assist people on their sobriety journeys.

- Wellbriety Meeting
Wellbriety is a 12-Step program that is designed to addressing the unique needs of Indigenous people.The meeting are led by Leroy Joe.- Wellbriety meets in Samahquam on Tuesday from 7 pm – 8 pm
- Wellbriety meets in Skatin on Thursdays from 7 pm – 8 pm
- One-on-One Support in Community
Program Cooridnator/NNADAP Worker, Leroy Joe, is available to meet members in community for one-on-one support meetings from 1 pm – 6 pm prior to the evening’s Wellbriety Meeting. - Other Supports
Leroy Joe is available to meet with people who are dealing with addiction, whether they are the person with the addiction or family members.
