Sally Peters started working with SSHS April 2014 as an Elders Liaison Worker. Sally visits the Elders on non-travel days and also picks up medication for any community members that need prescription medication. She also drives elders to their appointments, including ones that necessitate and overnight stay, in Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver. Sally also assists in making arrangements for appointments. She commits several hours a week to patient travel and shopping assistance. Sally has experience with dementia and Alzheimer’s patients and recently completed the First Responders certificate through the Red Cross.
