Project Manager Fran Hopkins joined SSHS in September 2015. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science and a post-graduate degree in Indigenous Studies.
Fran has a background in health and project management and has worked for government, and private and not-for-profit organizations for more than 30 years. Prior to coming to SSHS, Fran worked as a policy consultant for Líl̓wat Health and Healing and with Vancouver Coastal Health as a coordinator for seniors/Elders programs. She is responsible for increasing health programming for SSHS by researching and applying for funding, working with the legal team to achieve charitable tax status, and assisting the Health Director in the growth and development of SSHS.
Fran has one daughter and is a proud grandmother of a 20-month-old grand daughter.
